Bellowman provides a wide range of quality industrial forged steel flanges and fittings including Slip-on pipe flange, socket weld pipe flanges, blind pipe flanges and other shapes for application in the oil, gas, chemical, power, shipbuilding, pressure vessel and other industries. Flange standards in accordance with ASTM, ANSI, ASME, API and other engineering standards.

Pipe flanges are used for connecting pipes, valves, pumps and other equipment to form a pipework system. They provide easy access for cleaning, inspection, modification and repairs. Pipe flanges are usually welded onto pipes or screwed onto a threaded pipe end and then jointed with bolts to make the connection. The pipe flanges with different pressure has different thickness and use different bolts.

The types of pipe flanges which Bellowman be able to provide are described and shown as below:

Slip-on pipe flange ( SORF )

Slip-on flange actually slip over the pipe. The flange are typically made with an inside diameter slightly larger than the outside
diameter of the pipe. This allows the flange to slip over the pipe
but still have a
somewhat snug fit. Slip-on flange are secured to
the pipe with a fillet weld at the top and the bottom of the
flange.

They are easy to use in fabricated applications.

Weld neck pipe flange ( WNRF )

Weld neck flange is attached to the pipe by welding the pipe
to the neck of the flange which allows for the transfer of stress
from the flange to the pipe itself.  The inside diameter of a weld
neck pipe flange is machined to match the inside diameter of the pipe.  Weld neck flange are often used for high pressure and
criticla applications.

Socket weld pipe flange ( SWRF )

Socket-weld flange are typically used on smaller sizes of high
pressure pipes. These flanges are attached by inserting the pipe into the socket end and applying fillet weld around the top. This
allows for a smooth bore and better flow of the fluid or gas inside of the pipe.

Threaded pipe flange ( THRF )

Threaded flange are similar to slip-on flange except the bore of
threaded flange has tapered threads. Threaded flange are
equiped with pipes that have external threads. The benefit of
these flanges is that it can be attached without welding.
Threaded flanges are often used for small diameter, low
pressure and non-critical applications.

Blind pipe flange ( BLRF )

Blind flange is used to seal the end of a piping system or
pressure vessel openings to prevent flow. They are commonly
used for pressure testing the flow of liquid or gas through a pipe or vessel. Blind flange also allow easy access to the pipe in the
event that work must be done inside the line, often be used for
high pressure applications.

Lap joint flange ( LJRF )

Lap joint flange slide over the pipe and are most commonly used with stub end fittings. A pipe is typically welded to the stub end
and the lap joint flange is free to rotate around the stub end, the
benefit of this is easily assembled and aligned. Lap joint flanges are often used for low pressure applications or where requires
frequent dismantling.
